Foto’s: New York City, THE City
First of all, HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! Hope you had a great New Year’s Eve.
Since I had a few days off, I finally had a chance to post some NYC pics. As I’ve written earlier, last december we went to The Big Apple for a small pre-Christmas holiday. Although most cities I’ve visited are easily ‘conquered’ within a day or four, New York City is on a whole other level. After a week we feel we’ve only scratched the surface. There are so many things to see, so many shops to wander around for hours and everything is moving at a blistering speed.
We saw most of the big Manhattan landmarks, watched a Broadway show, skated at the Rockafeller Icerink, walked around Greenwhich Village and did a lot of good shopping.
The dollar was at an all-time low and the Christmas-sale was moving forward at full speed, so it was an ideal time to pick up the bargains.
Here are a couple of pics. They are all shot with a Canon 40D and a Tamron 18-270VC.
New York, New York, we’ll definately meet again!
